Being Taught From My Gambling Blunders

First to clarify why I write this essay. I have been wagering online or at land-based casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up until you are penniless. Especially if you are on a winning run. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you are just having a blast until you decide to pay attention to your defeats and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you feel sick in your stomach and the more you attempt the quicker you lose.

When you see that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, trust me, this concept RARELY ever operates. Say you’re betting on slots, have a bankroll put aside prior to beginning your play. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how tempting. If you happen to win, put that in a different canister. Don’t spend your successes no matter what. Once you’ve played through your original set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it is online or at a land-based betting house, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be another day, another time.

Remember, betting is assumed to be FUN not backbreaking, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t afford the cost, do not even start.
