Don’t Drink … Play!

[ English ]

If you enjoy a cocktail from time to time, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your handbag, your wallet, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Grab only the money you intend to spend on alcohol, tips and only the pocket change you expect to lose and leave the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You can have a profit after a intoxicated evening out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hook a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that adventure considering that it is as brief as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and gamble. The two just do not mix.

Keeping your moolah back at the hotel is a bit dramatic, but defensive actions for excessive actions is required. If you wager to profit, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you can afford to toss aside your money nary a worry, then consume all the gratuitous booze your stomach are able to handle, but don’t pack credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of following losses after your drunken self loses all the cash!

Permit me to carry this 1 step more. do not drink and then go online to gamble in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my home, but since I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.

What’s the reason? Even though I do not drink alcohol a lot, when I consume alcohol, it’s clearly enough to cloud my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not bet when you do. Both make for a decimating, and expensive, cocktail.
